F\u00fcr das geplante Hotel Koenigshof von Marriott, Management MHP Hotel AG, war dies jedoch ausdr\u00fccklicher Wunsch der Investorin Dr. Nicole Inselkammer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Der Ort hat eine beeindruckende Geschichte. \u00dcber den Karlsplatz oder Stachus f\u00fchrte die mittelalterliche Salzstrasse. Genau gegen\u00fcber dem Stadttor errichtete sich der Architekt Gustav Vorherr eine private Villa. K\u00f6nig Max Joseph I. hatte ihm dieses Grundst\u00fcck f\u00fcr seine Verdienste geschenkt. Als Ehrenmitglied der M\u00fcnchner K\u00f6niglichen Akademie der K\u00fcnste stand sein Haus \u00a0Schriftsteller:innen, Kunsthistorikern, K\u00fcnstlerinnen oder Theaterintendanten stets offen. 1866 wurde das Anwesen zum Hotel umgebaut. Nach dem ersten Weltkrieg erhielt es den Namen \u201eK\u00f6nigshof\u201c. Schwere Zerst\u00f6rungen im zweiten Weltkrieg erforderten einen grundlegenden Wiederaufbau. In dieser klassizistischen Anmutung war es lange Zeit das Traditionshotel im Herzen M\u00fcnchens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ein ganz neues Kapitel beginnt nun mit dem Neubau des spanischen Architekten Enrique Sobejano, bekannt auch durch seine Museumsprojekte.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Das Kunstkonzept<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Angefragt, ein Kunstkonzept f\u00fcr diesen legend\u00e4ren Ort zu entwickeln, war mein Anliegen klar: Den G\u00e4sten ein zeitgen\u00f6ssisches Kunsterlebnis fernab aller M\u00fcnchen\/Bayern Klischees von Dirndl-und-Lederhosen-Illustrationen zu bieten. In den M\u00fcnchner K\u00f6nigsh\u00e4usern wurde zu allen Zeiten begeistert Kunst gesammelt. Man rief die interessantesten Ku\u0308nstler:innen aus aller Welt an den Hof. Jeder Raum im Schloss erhielt sein charakteristisches Kunstambiente. So sollten es auch die G\u00e4ste im neuen Hotel Koenigshof erleben, wie es der Name verspricht.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mit 76 Museen, \u00fcber 50 Galerien, 34 Institutionen zur Bildenden Kunst, etlichen K\u00fcnstler:innen Off-Spaces, einer Akademie der Bildenden K\u00fcnste und unz\u00e4hligen Ateliers ist M\u00fcnchen wahrlich eine Kunst-Stadt!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>F\u00fcr die Koenigshof Collection konnte ich 224 Kunstwerke von 35 Kunstschaffenden ausw\u00e4hlen, die nun in den Zimmern und Suiten einen breiten \u00dcberblick zur (inter)nationalen Szene erm\u00f6glichen. Neben deutschen K\u00fcnstler:innen finden sich Positionen aus Argentinien, \u00c4gypten, D\u00e4nemark, England, Frankreich, Peru, Spanien, Ungarn, USA bis Venezuela.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Kunstwerke aus aller Welt<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Seltene, limitierte Editionen oder Originale stammen von Carla Arocha, Stefan Moritz Becker, Joseph Beuys, Christo, Tony Cragg, Beatriz von Eidlitz, David John Flynn, Elisabeth Mehrl, Ulrike Heydenreich, Rebekka Horn, Valerie Jaudon, Alfred Kettmann, Attila Kov\u00e1cs, Horst Kuhnert, Malene Landgreeen, Roy Lichtenstein, Marianne Manda, Tonie Meilhamer, Sarah Morris, Jo Niemeyer, Rinaldo Paluzzi, A.R. Penck, Wolfgang Petrovsky, Pablo Picasso, Maria E.
